Sophos, market-leading supplier of security software and hardware, has announced that it is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange, and has made an official announcement to the markets last week.
According to the Telegraph, the private equity owner of Sophos, Apax, is planning for a stock market floatation of around £1bn later this year.
Sophos Chief Executive, Kris Hagerman, said;
“I am pleased to confirm that Sophos is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange and has made an official announcement to the markets today.
