26 May 2005 Gaia Technologies To Expand Manchester Network

Partners Gaia Technologies plc has been contracted by Manchester City Council to expand the city's wireless network. The deal is worth over £1.6m.

Gaia Technologies will be expanding the wireless network in East Manchester and providing over 2,000 PCs and a local technical support service. The deal is part of Manchester Council's urban ICT regeneration project, which aims to help disadvantaged areas gain access to ICT and online services.
