Curriculum Development

At Gaia we have a strong passion for helping students learn. We work hard to develop technology to facilitate learning and improve education outcomes. We work very closely with our Education Partners to develop bespoke material tailored to individual school curricula. We are currently developing motion sensor and voice recognition technology for use in the classroom. We have found that by maximising the use of cost-effective devices, such as Microsoft Kinect, we can offer advanced technologies to our Education Partners that were previously unobtainable for schools, opening up new possibilities for teachers and students and increasing the scope of learning.
The Gaia team of developers are working closely with teachers around the UK to develop new and bespoke content for the Gaia 3D Visual Learning system. From simple models to complex full environments, all new content is available immediately and is shared between schools. Teachers and students can even create content themselves – meaning that our library of content is always growing.
We believe that educators should not have to tailor their lessons to suit technology, but rather that technology should be shaped and developed to suit the lessons. We are constantly striving to find new ways to take our Education Partners forward – with a real focus on education and what schools need to achieve.
