Creativity is vital in helping young minds develop. It is important in mathematics, science, technology and in business. Technology has enormous potential for enabling creativity by providing tools, materials, resources, processes and access for students across the curriculum. Gaia believes that an inspiring learning environment aids the development of resilient, independent and innovative students, nurturing the development of flexible skills and competencies.
The Gaia Innovation Centre is sponsored by Gaia and employed to create an educational hub where students, teachers, parents and community members can come to explore the latest technologies and share learning experiences.
To truly champion innovation through ICT it is important to provide a flexible and ICT advanced space that can be used for a wide range of purposes. This centre can be used as a test bed for new technologies, creating an environment that encourages innovation by staff, students and the local community.
