Home & Community

At Gaia, we understand that learning does not stop when a child leaves school. It is important that we facilitate learning wherever, whenever and however it occurs. This has shaped our vision to offer learners, teachers, parents and the wider community the best possible ICT tools to support the learning process.

Gaia has a firm commitment to the educational and social advancement of students and their communities through access to ICT and anywhere, anytime, anyhow learning. Gaia’s Wireless Community and Educational projects – which started in 1999 and continue to date – have enabled children in Wales, Manchester, Liverpool, Cumbria and Birmingham to benefit from access to devices and secure connectivity between the home and the school.

Gaia also fosters the development and co-operation of neighbouring learning communities, whereby the leading institution provides an extended hub of services and support to other secondary and primary feeder schools. Gaia has proved by theory and action that cooperation amongst neighbouring schools and the integration of resources delivers an extended learning community where learning opportunities abound and children flourish.
