How the Location System works

Similar technology is used by health authorities for tracking patients and assets, in tracking animals’ origin and genetic history, in logistics such as pallet tracking, and in e-passports which makes airport queuing is a thing of the past. At one end, a tag is either;

• Worn as a badge by a student, or
• Is installed internally within an item of equipment that is moved frequently e.g. projector or laptop.

At the other end a web based interface provides management with an effective tool for tracking and controlling the location and position of students, and for allowing which areas they are allowed to access.
